"Crocodile Sundet" Juried into Central MA Pastel Society National Juried Show

I am thrilled to share that Crocodile Sunset has been juried into the Central Mass Pastel Society 4th annual national juried show Marks of Distinction. Many thanks to the jurors of selection Liz Balkwill and Natasha Isenhour! 73 works were chosen from entries from all over the country and Canada.

The show runs September 1-28 at Fivesparks, 7 Fairbank St., Harvard, MA, with special hours: Tue-Thu, N-6; Fri N-3; and Sat-Sun N-4. Be sure to see this wonderful exhibit; you can make a day of it as Harvard is in a beautiful, historic area west of Boston with much to see and do, and easily reachable from major roads.

Titling paintings is one of the more difficult tasks of painting. The title of this pastel  was inspired by the crocodile-shaped cloud that seems to be swallowing the setting sun!
