Poetry in MOcean Solo Exhibit

I am happy to announce that I will have a solo exhibit in the Anne H. Brock Community Room at the Truro Public Library for the month of June.

Poetry in Motion is a phrase often used to describe movement marked by grace, fluidity, and beauty—qualities that are perhaps most powerfully embodied by the sea.

The ocean surrounding the Cape plays a defining role in shaping life along its shores. Its ever-changing nature reflects both the environment around it and the rhythms of coastal living. Through this body of work, I seek to capture moments of tranquility and force through the ocean’s color, texture, and movement across its many forms and moods.

Expanding on the play on words Poetry in MOcean, my coastal paintings are paired with selected excerpts from both iconic and contemporary poets whose work also pays tribute to the enduring beauty and power of the sea.

The Truro Public Library, 7 Standish Way, North Truro, MA, is open Tuesdays through Saturdays.
